"We believe everyone has the inner strength and ability to reach their true potential and live the life they were meant to live; our aim is to bring children and adults of all ages and abilities out of the shadows and into the light to a place where they can truly shine." [Horse Whisperer, Amanda – Director In Harmony with Horses]
Welcome to In Harmony with Horses, we invite you to join us in our stunning landscape, nestled in the Pennine hills where you can experience the powerful and effective way of learning and healing through the Wisdom of the Horse.
Activities with horses present insights that challenge our assumptions, limiting beliefs and patterns of behaviour. This awareness allows the opportunity for the individual to learn, develop and grow.
Whether you are a school or group looking for alternative provision, a company looking to power up your team and your business or an individual looking to re-connect to self, In Harmony with Horses are able to offer a range of programmes suitable for every need.
Amanda is also passionate about the welfare of the horse and is keen to ensure horse owners and the horses in their care have happy, healthy mutually beneficial relationships. Go to our Natural Horsemanship and Health page to find out more about how Amanda can help you and your horse live in Harmony using her unique approach to this often confusing subject.
"Amanda's wealth of knowledge and her ability to teach her 'horse whispering' techniques to others make every visit to her stables an absolute joy. My heart felt thanks to Amanda." [Colin Hadfield]
"Teach me how to trust my heart, my intuition, the senses of my body, the blessings of my spirit. Teach me to trust these things so that I may enter my sacred space and love beyond my fear, and thus walk in balance with the passing of each glorious sun." [Lakota Prayer]
"David developed a real connection with his horse. Having severe autism relating to people was a real difficulty, having a trusting relationship with his horse was a stepping stone on the way to being comfortable and communicating with people." [Pete Ruse]
