In Harmony With Horses is owned and run by Amanda Oates-Patterson. Amanda has been involved with horses and animals most of her life and been professionally involved with them for the past 20 years. 

Amanda’s philosophy is to keep and train horses in the most natural way possible to the horse and its current situation. As a result of this Amanda takes an holistic approach to all aspects of the business be it the Natural Horsemanship Training, the livery, the Instructing or the Animal Healing.

This approach produces heartfelt partnerships between horses and their owners/riders, looks at the root cause of behavioural problems, provides horses with an environment suited to their needs, and makes learning fun and enjoyable for visitors to the centre.

Nestled in the Pennine Hills, the centre is set amidst some of West Yorkshires most beautiful scenery, with quick and easy access to stunning off road riding.

Amanda also runs a unique project offerering Equine Facilitated Learning to people who can greatly benefit from connecting with Horses. Please select from the menu bar for further details of this exciting work.

The centre is ideally situated for commutes from throughout West Yorkshire and Lancashire or Manchester with easy motorway access nearby from the M62 junctions 22 or 24.
